Device categories

Every device belongs to at least one category (e.g., digital multimeter, oscilloscope). Edit existing categories or add new ones here.

Edit​

Select the category in the list, use the search field to narrow the view, click the three dots, and choose Edit. Update the data and click Save.

Add​

Before adding, confirm the category does not already exist (use the search field).

There can be reasons to keep duplicates, but we generally advise against it.

Click Action → Add, enter the category name, and click Add to save it.

Delete​

Select the category, click the three dots, and choose Delete.

Deleting a category happens without an additional confirmation.

Deleting a category does not affect existing inspection equipment. Their records remain unchanged.
