Users

The Users menu opens the user management area. Here you can add, edit, or delete user accounts.

Add a user

Click the Add button to open the dialog for creating a new user.

Once all fields are filled out correctly, click Create to add the user.

Group

Every user must belong to a group. The group defines the role the user has within Memida.

Groups

At the moment there are three groups:

Viewer

As a Viewer you primarily have read-only access to information in Memida. Your role is passive and focuses on reading and commenting on data. You cannot make changes or add new users, but you can still contribute by adding comments and you can access all information about inspection equipment.

User

As a User you play an active role. You can view information and activities and you are allowed to assign inspection equipment to cost centers. You have all permissions needed to manage inspection equipment in Memida.

Admin

As an Admin you have full control and extensive access in Memida. You can create all types of users and assign them to different companies and cost centers. Your role also covers company-wide settings. You can view data from every company in the account and therefore have a complete overview of all content and activities.

  1. Only for cost centers the logged-in user is assigned to.
  2. Only for inspection equipment, inspection reports, and inspection instructions.

Onboarding

After you create a user, they receive an invitation email to join Memida.

When they accept the invitation via the button in the email, they receive another email asking them to set a password.

A dialog opens to set the password. Once the password has been set successfully, the user receives a confirmation email.

View user details

Click a user’s name in the list to open the detail dialog.

Assign a user to a cost center

The bottom of the detail dialog shows a section listing all cost centers assigned to the user.

Click the plus icon in the upper-right corner of the section to assign another cost center.

Enable notifications for a cost center

Click the three dots at the end of the row and choose the option in the context menu to enable notifications for that cost center.

Disable notifications for a cost center

Click the three dots at the end of the row and choose the option in the context menu to disable notifications for that cost center.

Remove a user from a cost center

Click the three dots at the end of the row and choose the option in the context menu to remove the link between the user and the cost center.

Resend the invitation

The Action button allows you to resend the Memida invitation.

You must confirm this action in a dialog before the invitation is resent.

Archive a user

The Action button also lets you archive the user account. Archived users behave as if they did not exist. They can no longer sign in.

Reactivate archived users

Archived users do not appear in the default list. You can list them by clicking Filter and selecting Archived.

Click the name to open the user details.

For archived users the Action button offers the option to reactivate the account.

You must confirm the action in a dialog before the user is reactivated.
